Why SOPA And PIPA Will Break The Internet

While this is debatable, I personally feel that SOPA and PIPA are some of the worst pieces of legislation ever. Wanna know why? Watch the video provided above.

Also,

While the previously mentioned video does a great job of explaining SOPA/PIPA and why it’s bad news for the Internet, I do want to add an additional point. What the video doesn’t really mention is that if these pieces of legislation pass, many jobs would be killed (in a bad economy mind you), because there are many people who draw their income from popular blogs that they own and run. Many social media jobs will also be put at risk too.

This very blog you’re reading now could be blocked.

Please stand against SOPA and PIPA.

Today’s copyright laws can be pretty confusing, which is why this video is so helpful.

Taco Bell Fights Lawsuit with Ad Campaign

A lawsuit against Taco Bell was recently filed concerning whether or not the beef the fast food chain uses is, in fact, actually beef.  Taco Bell’s official response?  An ad campaign fighting the lawsuits claims.

Typically, I don’t see this kind of a response from companies.  Taco Bell seems to have really switched things up by essentially saying “H*** NO” to the lawsuit.

The move was bold, but the fast food joint has earned my respect.  They’re standing by their products and not being sneaky about it either.  Taco Bell chose to really put itself out there and let everyone know what’s going on.

Having said that, I hope for Taco Bell’s sake that they really are being honest about what they’re telling everyone now, but that’s very likely considering how open they’ve been with the public about the lawsuit and their meat.

Look below to check out a Taco Bell ad concerning the lawsuit.
